What is the difference between a Docs site and a Knowledgebase?
There is no difference, Knowledgebase is another name for Docs site.
Can I add my widget to any website or app I own?
If you’re on the Startup plan, you can only add your widget to 1 domain. With the Growth and Business plans, you can add the widget to any domain you’d like.
Do I need to use my own mail servers with Communication?
No, you will be using our highly available and professionally maintained mail servers for both receiving mails as well as sending. If you’d like to use your own mail servers for sending, you can do so with our Growth and Business plans. If you’d like to use your own mail servers for receiving mail, get in touch with us and we’ll work with you.
Can I cancel my plan at any time? Am I locked into a contract?
Absolutely, you are not bound by any contract and can cancel your plan at any time within the app.
What kind of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit card through Stripe via our billing system Chargebee.
Will my data be private and safe?
We take data privacy very seriously and will always protect your data. All of our systems use end-to-end encryption via SSL and we use only highly secured cloud services from Amazon AWS.
What is your refund policy?
You have 7 days from the date of payment to ask for and receive a refund.
What is your uptime SLA?
For the Startup and Growth plan, 99% Uptime Guarantee. For the Business plan, we offer a 100% uptime guarantee SLA.
How does Communication receive my emails? Do I need to start using your email address?
You will receive a custom email address for every mailbox you set up at Communication. You will then set up a forwarder to forward any mail that you want into that mailbox to the address we provide you. It’s really that simple.
Is your Startup plan only free for a certain amount of time?
No, the Startup plan is Free. It is not a Free Trial, it is a full plan which is free in order to help startups up their communication game within their own teams and their customers.
Can I upgrade / downgrade / change my plan at any time?
Yes, you are free to change your plan at any time to suit your needs.
Do I need to enter my credit card info to sign up?
Yes, you will need to provide your credit card information to sign up, even if your plan is free. This is done to avoid spambot sign-ups and abuse to our free plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
You may cancel your plan at any time prior to your next billing cycle. You will have access to your plan up until your next billing cycle becomes due.
